Chevrolet is proud to partner with Wreaths Across America, an organization that’s dedicated to remembering our fallen heroes and honoring those who serve. Its mission is carried out in part through wreath layings at over 1,200 cemeteries, including Arlington National Cemetery, and had a goal of laying roughly 250,000 wreaths this year. Each year, Chevrolet donates 4,000 wreaths and provides 12 vehicles to support a weeklong veterans parade from Maine to Arlington, Virginia to celebrate Veterans Day.
Supporting Operation Homefront
Chevy proudly supports Operation Homefront (OH), a national nonprofit whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Since 2011, Operation Homefront has fulfilled nearly 42,000 unique requests from military families, providing over $26 million in financial assistance.
Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans
Chevrolet supports the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans marathon riders. The team comprises athletes who have overcome life-changing injuries to compete in various marathons across the country. Their competitive spirit was captured at the Detroit Free Press International Marathon, where each cyclist showed their skill, strength, dedication and determination. Chevy engineers also partnered with students from Michigan Technological University to develop a more efficient handcycle for the Achilles Freedom Team.
